I’ve quit (for the most part) using adverbs in my fiction. As for works in progress, my memoir has been that for about 8 years now. Someday I’ll finish it and move on from the past… permanently (sigh)

Hi Tammy, I know what you mean. For six years, part time, I edited my novel and finally I had to put it away for a while. I needed to write something fresh. I know I’ll go back to it because six years, as you know, is a big time investment. For now, I’m enjoying writing a paranormal mystery for the first time. Good luck finishing your project.
