Today, I saw a friend of mine, Veronica Oliva, a San Francisco based permissions editor, who spoke to my writing class a few years ago. We talked about how to keep focused during meditation. She told me she recites inspirational poetry during her quiet time each morning. Veronica demonstrated with an e.e. cummings’ poem and I immediately relaxed.
This video has the same effect. I will try it tomorrow before I start my day.
