Beautiful weather in the San Francisco Bay Area made my extra trip to Berkeley pleasant. Yesterday, I forgot my storage stick at the office and had to retrieve it today since it had what I needed for Monday. The Claremont Hotel sits on the hill above our office and looked whiter than usual in the sun as I parked my car next to the tennis courts. I help Mitchell there two days a week but I can’t remember a time when I was there on a Sunday. The energy was the same yet a bit different, calmer, more relaxed.
While I enjoyed the familiar ambiance, Mitchell visited Buchanan Field in Concord where he explored the WWII historic aircraft on display for the weekend. He took the walk-through tour rather than a flight on a B-17 or B-24 for $450. The Wings of Freedom annual celebration honors the WWII Veterans and goes to 35 states.
I’m interested in what you did wherever you are.
