Graduation from St. Mary’s High School

Ariana Mitchell Me side AToday was Ariana’s graduation. The yellow rope is her award for Summa Cum Laude, which means the highest praise for achieving a cumulative grade point average of 3.75 and above. The red rope which is hard to see on a red gown is for Senior Project Recognition.

Mitchell, her father is on her right and I’m on her left.

Since I graduated from St. Mary’s College, which is connected to St. Mary’s High School, we both are alumni from St. Mary’s.

Las Positas College Anthology Called Impressions

Patrick Coyle who won First Place Prose for his story, “Time of Your Life.”

Tanda Clauson, absent from the group, was published in the anthology for her photo, “Waiting for Spring Rain’ and her story,” Bravery.”

We enjoyed celebrating our successes.

Las Positas College Anthology Book Launch

Elena K. Manzo’s photo of her daughter holding a butterfly called “Joy Through Child’s Eyes” is printed in the anthology.

Tanda Clauson’s photo of her son’s boots called “Waiting for Spring Rain” is also in the anthology.

Several other California Writers Club, Tri-Valley Branch members have photos, stories, poetry, and essays in the book called IMPRESSIONS.

My short story called “Waiting” won Honorable Mention.
